PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENT

A psycho-educational assessment is performed by a psychologist and is carried out in order to obtain a better understanding of an individual's cognitive profile, otherwise known as intellectual ability or IQ. The information gathered from an assessment is typically used to provide direction to individuals, parents, schools, workplaces and allied health providers on how best to support and accommodate the individual based on their cognitive profile.
